Asalamualaykum,

I am a 23-year-old guy, working for a better life, and recently my father made me get married to someone in the family, specifically from his side of the family. He said I will be in better hands than being with someone from outside the family.

My father and his brother somehow made me say yes after convincing me for almost a year and now I regret it.

I regret every single second of my life since then. We don't live together right now, just did the nikkah, but the thought of living with someone for the rest of my life, I just truly can't. No one is even willing to take my side right now, never felt more alone in my life than I am feeling right now.

I agree its my mistake that I gave to my father's emotional stuff but please tell what can I do right now.
