Salaams,
Issuing a threefold divorce is unilateralally considered to be haraam. In spite of this, most scholars feel that if a threefold divorce is issued, it still only counts as one talaq. Considering the fact that the Ulema are divided on this issue, we editors do not have any more clout to do much more than repeat what is said by them about the issue. If you want to research this issue further, a good site to start with is http://www.systemoflife.com/fiqh/talaq/203-the-issue-of-triple-talaq.
If you are asking this question for personal reasons, I would strongly suggest bringing this question to the Imam who married you (or any other imam, if he's not available).
