Is a gender-mixed wedding celebration haram?

My question is about the wedding celebration. I would like to know if mixed wedding celebration meaning men and women in the same room is forbidden in Islam and the bride and groom are dancing.

Another question is about slow dancing between the husband and wife in front of people during their wedding celebration, is it haram?

  1. yes both of them are haraam.

  2. gender mixed would be no fun either. the girls can wear whatever they want and do as much hair/make-up with no guys around. plus, it's more fun because girls have more fun without the guys, and guys have their own fun. people don't have to be reserved around other people's spouses or whatever.
