How do I know the meaning of my name in order to know if I have to change it if converting to Islam?
I am thinking on converting to Islam, but I am informing myself first about everything I can. The more I read, the more I have questions. I think is good, but converting to Islam in a non muslim country seems to be quiet complicated, but I admire the Islam principles and I want to go forward.

Hows about you log in and submit a proper post with a lot more detail and we may be able to whip up some wise advice for you.
In the meantime, do bear in mind, we can't make others love us. Our Prophet(saw) was a lovely, caring, kind, honest, pious, God fearing man and so many people loved him and still do. Allah also loves him(saw) and thats the best sort of 'Love'. So maybe if you want to be loved in a similar way to the way our Rasool(saw) was by the people and by Allah, then perhaps you could work on making his(saw) traits beloved to you by adopting them.

It made me giggle too, thats why I wrote it, lol (no offence meant to the Mudasir).
Sometimes I see things in a situation or in someone's words that make me laugh and I have an urge to splurge, hence my comment above. Hmm, I laugh at my own jokes, but I'd go crazy if I didn't - someone has to make me laugh, haha.

sania, you'll just have to wait like everyone else until the exam results come out. We are not fortune tellers here. Actually fortune telling, astrology, numerology, etc, are all haram in Islam. They are a form of shirk.
