While I’m Sleeping Some Evil Spirits Enter my body

Salam,

I am very worried about my condition. It’s been like three times at night. While I'm sleeping, some thing enters in my body. For me it was a dream but it feels like its happening in real. I feel like somebody put kilos of weight on body, I can’t move myself even I tried to read ayatal kursi and some other duas but that spirit or whatever don't let me do that.

It feels like it’s inside of me and playing with my mind. For two consecutive days I have this dream but then my friend told me read last roko of sura BAQRA, MANZIL daily and after reading manzil take some water and spray it on the all four corners of your room. And read your prayers 5 times. She also sends me a Surat to put on my wall.

I tried everything. But its not working. Even I have an ayatal kuris taveez with me all the time. And read it and the four QUL's before sleeping but its not working. Last night I had the same dream as it enters my body and makes me walks in house.

Please help me with this. I am really scared.

  1. As salamu alaykum,

Insha´Allah, what I am going to tell you will be helpful. You may have done or being doing all of this, but I hope you don´t mind I share it with you.

    1. You should go to a doctor to see if you have any physical problem such as Hypnogogia and sleep paralysis or any other disorder.
    2. About carryng a taveez, I don´t think it is appropiate, it is like superstition. Try to learn by Heart ayat al kursi.
    3. Recite Surah Al-Baqarah where you sleep.
    4. Pray your salat on time.
    5. Mantain yourself in state of wudu or gushl permanently, will keep you protected.
    6. Before entering the bathroom, before going to bed, before eating, getting undressed or dressed say: Bismillah. After getting out of the bathroom say: Astagfiroullah.
    7. Before going to bed, do as you do, ayat al kursi, surah al Fatiha, al iklas, al falak and an nass. Blow in your hands and pass them all over your body. Remember to say Bismillah before entering your bed and sleep on your right side.
8.Mantain yourself within the islamic boundaries(halal food and behaviour).
    9. If after following this, you still feel the weight, "Audhu billahi minash shaytani rajim" , remember that Allah(swt) is Al-Malik. If you cannot say any other word, just remember the names of Allah(swt) insha´Allah will be far away from you before you can think of it.
    10. Give zakah.
    11. If you can, listen the Adhan and go to Friday´s prayer.
    12. There is a link on Duas in the top of the page, you have Morning and evening Dikhr, insha´Allah will be useful. http://www.zawaj.com/askbilqis/dua-in-islam/morning-and-evening-dhikr-part-1/
    13. Some duas that Insha´Allah maybe helpful.
    1) Bismillahi alladhi la yadurru ma`a ismihi shay’un fi al-ardi wa la fi as-sama’i wa huwa as-sami`u al-`alim
(In the name of Allah; with His name, nothing whatsoever on earth or heaven can inflict any harm; He is All-Hearing and All-Knowing).
    2) Hasbiya Allahu la ilaha illa huwa `alayhi tawakkaltu wahuwa rabbu al-`arshi al-`azhim
(Allah suffices me; there is no god but He; in Him I place my sole trust; He is the Lord of the mighty Throne).
    3) Allaahumma ini a`duhu bika min hamazati ash-shayatin wa a`udhu bika rabbi an yahdurun
(O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the whisperings of Satan; my Lord, I seek refuge in You from their presence around me).
    4) A`udhu bi `izzati Allahi wa qudratihi mimma ajidu wa uhadhiru
(I seek refuge in Allah’s glory and power from the affliction and pain I experience and suffer from).
14.Always have Allah(swt) present in your mind, mouth and acts, begin everything with Bismillah, say Alhamdulillah, masha´Allah, ..............
    15. Be modest in your talk and dressing.
    16. Eat seven dates before fajhr.

  2. I have a similar question to the woman that posted this, I am a catholic and I recently read the quran and i want to eventually convert because it makes so much sense to me, however ever since I started reading it and trying to follow it, these bad thoughts have been creeping into my head and I catch myself saying really bad things, I dont know if its me saying them because I wasnt the best person before all this, or if its something else and its a really scary and confusing time for me, because I just want them to go away. Could it be that my Imaan is weak? and Im not strong enough for this, is it because Ive done wrong for so long and its trying to stop me from doin right?, sometimes I cant sleep at night and its really scaring me, because the things I am saying is not me, but I dont know if it is me at the same time. And I feel so bad because I know all the things it says in the quran but its like something dosent want me to follow it, its really confusing and I dont know what to do! Im scared Allah wont forgive me for these thoughts! Someone please help me, I dont know what to do!

    • My dear Sister Mishaa,

SubhaanAllah on your wanting to accept Islam. It is only Shaytan who is trying to stop you from accepting Islam, so he is whispering things to you in an attempt to confuse and frighten you. Shaytan is nothing but a weak force, because he spreads falsehood and falsehood will always perish, while the truth will always remain. Dear sister, if you can insha'Allah, read the following duas every morning and evening if possible and I am sure you will see a change. The more you pesevere, the less confusing thoughts you will have insha'Allah. Insha'Allah you will be fine. If you want more help, please write in insha'Allah.
