Am I making the right decision to move to London for higher education?
Assalam O Alaikum,
I am a student of class 9 well ,INSHAALLAH my wish is to complete my F.A.C here in Saudi Arabia and move out to London for further education so what do you think and yeah let me say you that this is my final decision but please answer me is it good or right to go there?

None of us editors, or any other commentors, can ultimately tell you what the right decision is for you. Someone who knows you well, and who knows what educational opportunities are available in both Saudi and UK might be able to make some insightful suggestions, but none of us fit that category. If you are having any misgivings about your intended course of action, make istikhara. If you've already made your decision anyway, I'm not sure any of us will be able to reassure you whether it was right for you or not.
However, if you want to hear about what London can offer you, I know for a fact that there are several editors here who can share on that subject.

I would urge people to encourage their children to pursue higher education where possible and sensible to.
I would also say that I give the same advice to other Muslims as I do to my own family.
Never ever study away from home if you think you might give in to temptations, it's less likely that happens when you're at home. So if you can't resist, then do whatever you're comfortable with, otherwise stay home.
well you sound right &its me the only one who says to go to london for further education only my father agrees with this and no one else from my family members,my brothers say that you can go to riyadh university that is too a good and a very perrfect university with all the facilities for students who go to graduate there from distances well, honestly i really dont know whether i should listen to my dad or to my family members

OK, I will try to help you here if I could. Sister, all the major Universities that we have here in London or whole UK have campuses abroad especially in KSA, Dubai etc. Such as Metropolitan University, LSE, Kings College, University of Leeds, University of Plymouth, University of Middlesex are just a few good universities those have campuses in Saudi. I agree with John here that it will be difficult for you to study abroad away from your family. I would say that listen to what your brother says and ask him to help you find a UK university their. Also, remember one thing sister that it depends on which subject you want to study. UK universities are ranked according to how good they are in a particular subject. For instance a university may be in top 10 in business subjects but it may not make even in top 50 in science and engineering subjects. It all depends on what subject you are planning to study for your higher education.

I agree with John! Be careful of those temptations... Being away from home its easier to make mistakes.
Sister its not worth it to leave a place were you hear the athan 5 times a day to come to this place for dunya that you can find in a muslim land dont fall for it insha'Allah you will be rewarded for staying in a muslim land. maybe this is a test sister.

the prophet[saww] said in 3 different ahadeeth "it is not allowed for a woman who believs in Allaah and the last day to travel without a mahram for over 3 days"in another one in tirmithi
"it is not allowed for a woman who believes in Allaah or the last day to travel without a mahram"
donot travel to the lands of the kuffar for university unless your male relatives will come with you my sister, leave it for the sake of Allaah, he will provide for you from an angle that you donot percieve.
