  1. As salamu alaykum, sister amees,

Worst than eating the liver is the fear you have in your blood now, sister, you didn´t eat as much and just once, your body is wise, I am sure you didn´t collect enough quantities of vitamine A to damage the unborn baby.

Trust Allah(swt) ways, give Him(swt) all these fears and become to feel confident about the health of your baby, I understand perfectly what you are going through, but you need to trust Allah(swt) blindly, this way you will understand that we are all in His Hands.

If you craved for liver you may have iron deficiency, here doctors give you iron and folic acid as suplements during pregnancy, consult him and have an open, balanced diet.

There is a beautiful relaxation exercise good for the baby and you,

Take care, congratulations on your pregnancy, read and recite the Quran, the Names of Allah(swt), His Attributes, pray your salat, on top of the page you have a link on duas, the seventh one is specially comforting when we are anxious.

    All my Unconditional Respect,

  2. ASA sister!
And congrats for you baby!! 🙂
DONT WORRY! ... I work with pregnant women, infants and children on a daily basis and feel very strong about these words...DONT WORRY :)... It is true, liver does cotain high levels of Vitamin A, but so do carrots, broccoli, eggs, milk, cheese, papaya, mango and so many more! And you are not avoiding any of these I imagine. Liver is also a good source of iron. This is something that must be kept within normal limits all the time. Specially during and after pregnancy. Sister you have done nothing wrong! 🙂 I do advice you to talk to your MD and tell him about your concerns, Inshallah, he will be able to better explain it to you... In my experience as a nutritionist, the only way that vitamin A can cause any defects and dont quote me on this is from artificial Vit A and what I mean by this is through a supplement... There are limits for everything and by eating a couple pieces of liver you have NOT harmed you baby inshallah! 🙂
Hope this has helped in anyway...

Again congrats on your new baby!! I cant tell you will be a great mommy 🙂
ENJOY these months and the years to come....

    AMIRA 🙂
