Is Marriage Whilst Pregnant Valid?

I got married recently but my wife was pregnant at the time. Is the nikkah valid? If not what would you advise?

She had informed  me of her pregnancy but by then it was too late for me to change anything.  So we went ahead and had the Nikkah.

    Asalaamualaykum Kaggo,

    According to a web search: "If the woman who is pregnant wants to marry the man who impregnated her, there are differences of opinion on whether it is permissible or not to perform a nikah contract during pregnancy. However, if she wants to marry a man other than the one who impregnated her, then this is not allowed by consensus until she has given birth to the child."

    Eitherway, this is a Fiqh matter and I would suggest you seek advice from a Qualified Mufti/Imam.
