  1. ho·mo·sex·u·al·i·ty
[hoh-muh-sek-shoo-al-i-tee, or, especially Brit., -seks-yoo-] Show IPA
    noun
sexual desire or behavior directed toward a person or persons of one's own sex.

    Per Dictionary.com.

There are two sexes of human on earth; male, and female.
Homosexuality is the act of two people of the same sex sharing a sexually intimate relationship.
Lesbianism is the act of two females sharing a sexually intimate relationship. Therefore, Lesbianism is homosexuality.

I know it may be confusing, because lesbians have a proper name for same sex relationships. They're termed 'lesbians'. However, although the word 'Gay' is interchangeable to describe the relationships of homosexual couples, it's common to hear the word 'Gay' as a term more in reference to two males sharing a sexually intimate relationship. This is clear where certain communities support the freedom of love between same-sex couples, by terming themselves 'LGBT' (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender) friendly.
Lesbian is homosexuality of female on female.
Gay is a blanket term for all homosexuality, but often used more for male on male homosexuality.
Bisexual is a term for a person who has sexual relations with both males and females.
Transgender is a term for a person who has been born a male, but lives socially as a female, or visa versa.

    Hope this helps!

    • If u av sexual urge as a female n dnt want to have sex with male bcox of bin underaged, wat can dat person do?

      • Being underaged is not the only issue. Islam does not allow homesexual sexual relations, and does not allow heterosexual sex outside of marriage. There are ways of controlling or channeling your sexual urge.

  2. Assalamualaikum,

Lesbian relations are no different from that of male homosexuals. The punishment (Hadd) for homosexualiry in Islam is death. The following Hadith is the evidence:

The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever you find doing the action of the people of Loot, execute the one who does it and the one to whom it is done.”. Classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Tirmidhi.

It also amounts to going against the nature Allah Created Humans with - a man for a woman and a woman for a man.

  3. Assalam'alaykum,

Narrated AbuSa'id al-Khudri: The Prophet (saws) said: " A man should not look at the private parts of another man, and a woman should not look at the private parts of another woman. A man should not lie with another man without wearing lower garmentunder one cover; and a woman should not belie with another woman without wearing lower garment under one cover". (Abu Dawood)

Narrated AbuHurayrah: The Prophet (saws) said: "A man should not lie with another man and a woman should not lie with another woman without covering their private parts except a child or a father. He also mentioned a third thing which I forgot. (Abu Dawood)

It was narrated that Jaabir (may Allaah be pleased with him): “The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: ‘There is nothing I fear for my ummah more than the deed of the people of Loot.’
(Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah )

It was narrated that Ibn ‘Abbaas said: “The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “… cursed is the one who has intercourse with an animal, cursed is the one who does the action of the people of Loot.”
    (Narrated by Ahmad)

It was narrated that Ibn ‘Abbaas said: “The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: ‘Whoever you find doing the deed of the people of Loot, kill the one who does it and the one to whom it is done.” (Tirmidhi)

“And (remember) Loot (Lot), when he said to his people: ‘Do you commit the worst sin such as none preceding you has committed in the world (mankind and jinn)?
Verily, you practise your lusts on men instead of women. Nay, but you are a people transgressing beyond bounds (by committing great sins)’
    [al-A’raaf 7:80-81]

This hadeeth was narrated by al-Bayhaqi from Abu Moosa (may Allaah be pleased withhim), who said that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “If a man has sexual relations with another man, they are both guilty of zina, and if a woman has sexual relations with another woman they are both guilty of zina.”

And the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Every son of Adam has his share of zina. For the eyes may commit zina and their zina is looking; the hands may commit zina and their zina is touching; the feet may commit zina and their zina is walking; the mouth may commit zina and its zina is kissing. The heart desires and wishes and the private parts confirm that or deny it.” (Narrated by al-Bukhaari, Muslim, and Ahmad. This version narrated by Ahmad,)

  4. eman,

Are you trying to find loop holes in Quranic laws and guidance? Because thats what it sounds like. This is what people do when they want to find excuses to justify their wrong actions.

*** Any type of homosexuality is forbidden in Islam. If we are not punished in this life, there is the Hereafter, so 'living your life but keeping it under the rock' is not going to mean we escape accountability. We may not see all, but Allah does.
