Comic book superheroes

Salam,

Is reading about something that Allah (SWT) has punished or will punish people for, haram? Like murders (like Jeffrey life history), theft (stories like Robin Hood), gay comics (nothing sexual just stories)?

In real life, it's impossible to make it happen, and I won't act upon it. Does reading these mean I am pleased with things that Allah (SWT) will punish for or has punished for?

The Prophet (PBUH) said: “Allah (SWT) has forgiven my ummah for what crosses their minds, so long as they do not speak of it or act upon it.”

Is reading about it considered acting upon it?

I am really confused. Please help. I dont support these people or lgbtq+ but I dont hate them. Sometimes these stories are more entertaining and interesting.
