I am wanting to Nikah a Christian woman but she is married to another christian man is this permitted in Islam?

Farzan, As-salamu alaykum,

No, Islam does not allow you to perform Nikah with this woman at all because she is already married.

Islam permits Polygamy - which allows a Muslim man to marry up to four women (Muslimah, Jewish or Christian).

But, Islam does not permit Polyandry - i.e. it does not allow a woman to be married to more than one man at the same time for which there are many logical reasons.
