Eid Mubarak!

Eid Mubarak

Eid Mubarak, wishing you a blessed Eid

Eid Mubarak to all our readers!

Ya Allah, relieve the sadness of those who are suffering, and guide those who are wandering and lost.
Ya Allah, bring ease to our difficulties, and show us the way out of our problems.
Ya Allah, unite the Muslims to serve You and please You.
Ya Allah, give Sabr (patience) and freedom to the innocent prisoners, and guide those who are at fault.
Ya Allah, You take care of the oppressed. Help the oppressed in Syria, Palestine, Kashmir, Afghanistan, Iraq, India, Chechnya, China, Mindanao and other parts of the world.
Ya Allah, guide oppressors to the right path and move the hearts of extremists from the harmful path.

Ameen.

Here is another long and beautiful dua' that one can say on Eid:

Ya Allah we beseech You alone, because to You belongs all praise; You have no partner, You are One, Unique, eternally besought Independent, neither begets, nor begotten, and there is none comparable unto You; and Muhammad is Your servant and Messenger, Your blessings be on him and on his companions and descendants, and all who followed him in righteousness.

O He who every day, exercises universal power, so it was under Your mandate we were taken care of, and because of which we are among those who receive Your response, follow Your religion, and call You alone.

You assisted us from the day we were born, through Your favours, generosity and kindness, thereafter, Your favours followed one another in succession, and likewise, also Your rewards and mercy.

Maybe we were slow, forgetful, neglectful, careless and indolent, but You completed Your favours, and always thought of us, bestowed Your favors on us, directed us, so by Your power it is as it should be O our God, Master, and Lord, You brought Your favours to fullness, and did not withdraw any blessing; verily You are the worthiest of all who grant favours, and it is You who perfected Your bounties for us.

O Allah we paid attention, obeyed, and responded to Your call, and it was also Your favour to us, therefore, praise is for You alone, we seek Your pardon O our Lord, and unto You we shall return.

O Allah, our Lord - Nourisher, verily we have heard a crier calling unto faith: "Believe you in your Lord!" So we believed.

Our Lord! Therefore forgive us our sins, and remit from us our evil deeds, and make us die the death of the righteous.

Our Lord! And give us that which You have promised to us by Your Messengers, confound us not on the Day of Judgment, verily, You do not break the covenant.

O Allah be our witness that we were upright and firm in religion in the light of that which the Messenger Muhammad and his companions, family and righteous followers set forth, blessings of Allah be on him and them; our path is their path, whatever they said we say, we cherish that which they held dear, we deny that which they denied, we are fond of whoever they loved, we condemn whomsoever they censured, we are kind to whomsoever they treated with kindness.

O Allah keep us in this condition forever, never withdraw it from us, let it stay stable with us, not as a passing phase, so far as we are kept alive, and make us die likewise when the time comes, because this alone will give us happiness, O the Most Merciful of all who show mercy!

  1. MashAllah What A Lovely Prayer, It Brought Tears To My Eye's, I Am So Ungrateful, Allah (Swt) Has Given Me A Healthy Life, A Loving Family, And Am Blessed With A Beautiful Home, Yet When I Open My Hands For Prayer's, I Still Pray For Only Myself,

May Allah (Swt) Guide Everybody The Right Way, May Allah (Swt) Bless His Choicest Blessings Upon Everyone, May Allah (Swt) Give Everyone Sakoon, (Ameen)

A Very Merry Eid To Everyone,

    • Happy Eid to you as well sister Samira. Make it a habit when you say dua' to first pray for the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and his family and companions; then for your parents and family; then for the Muslim Ummah and all people who are suffering; and then last of all, for yourself. When you pray for others Allah will bless you. When you think of others, Allah will think of you.

      • Hehe Brother Wael,

I Do Pray For Our Beloved Prophet And His Family Foremost, I Used To Pray For My Family And Friends First And Then Lastly For Myself, Buh Then A Friend Advised Me To Pray For Myself First (Obviously After Praising Allah (Swt) And Sending Darood Upon Our Beloved Prophet (P.b.u.h) And Later I Heard Myself By A Scholar Repeating The Same Thing, Meaning To Pray For Your Self First And Then For Your Family And Friends. And To Be Honest At First This Was A Problem For Me, I Couldn't Pray For My Self First I Felt Like Am Betraying My Family Lolxx, Buh Anyhow I Have Gotten Used To It Now, So I Wanted To Ask, Is It Actually Wrong To Pray For Yourself First ? I Mean Islamically ? Because Am Now Confused Lol,

Anyways By My Above Comment, What I Ment To Say Was, I Dont Pray For The Unprivileged, And For The People Who Are Suffering Horribly, I Feel So Awful, Now That You Addressed This, InshAllah I Will Start To Pray For Everyone In My Daily Prayers. May Allah (Swt) Reward You For Showing Compassion For Others (Ameen)

Please Keep Me In Your Prayers Thankyou !!

        • I read that somewhere too, that one should make dua for him/herself first. I shall verify that inshaAllah.

Eid Mubarak to you all and jazakhAllah and Aameen for your lovely Eid dua Wael.

  2. Samira,

We (in London) are doing Eid tomorrow Tuesday 16th November inshaAllah as 9th Dhul Hijjah was today.

It would be lovely for it to be a unified celebration at least in the same country! :O)

    Salaams

    • Yes Your Absolutely Correct,

Unfortunately, I Am Among The People Who Are Celebrating It On The 17th Of November, I Live In Rochdale, (A Small Town Near Manchester), You See It Was Kinda Confusing, Because I Was Keeping The Roza's Starting From The First Of Dhul Hijjah Until Eid Ul Adha, Buh Because We Are Celebrating Eid A Day After The Rest Of The World, I Didn't No If I Should Actually Keep A Fast Today, As Hajj Was Already Done The Day Before, So I Opted Out As I New Alot Of People Who Were Celebrating Eid Today,

Anyhow I Hope You Had A Wonderful Eid,

Please Keep Me In Your Prayers, Thankyou !!

  4. Eid Mubarak to you and may all your dua's come for all the good advice you give to people who need it but also share your kowledage with us. Thank you so much

  5. Shukran brother wael
Allah bless you and your famelly

  6. @Wael, your welcome brother.

    @Sister Z and Sister SamIra,
Yeah, it's so sad that even in one country we celebrate Eid on different days. I am also in London and was told by my friend in the afternoon that some people in some parts of London are celebrating Eid-ul-Adha with Pakistan. They are just insane when they don't realize about the movements of moon etc and other things but celebrate with the country where they come from. It's even happening in Muslim countries as well. How is this Ummah, going to unite, when they don't even celebrate these events on same days and commit sins with these delicate matters of dates and movements of Moon etc. May Allah have his mercy on all the Muslim Ummah and show them the right path and make them hold his rope tightly without falling into the division of sects. (Amin)

    • Aameen to your dua 'Mks1982', may Allah guide us all to the one true path, aameen. And do remember our whole team in your duas, including our Leyla and Abdul Wali aswell! :O)

      Take Care

  7. Yes Sister Z, I couldn't remember the names of brother Abdul Wali and Sister Leyla, sorry for that. You guys are always in the heart, mind and soul. I know that one should not only make dua for himself, his friends or family member but for all the Muslim Ummah. Sometimes Allah may not accept dua for any reason from his servant when he makes dua for himself, family or friends but Allah might accept his dua just because he prayed for whole Ummah. Remember me in your prayers too sister.

  8. Sorry, I forgot to mention sister Jannah and Sister Noorah (I haven't read/seen any of her reply to any post lately, was wondering if she still is on the panel?)

Happy Eid-ul-Adha to you both as well:)- I hope you both had a lovely day with friends and family.
    MKS:)-

    • Sister Noorah is busy with her family and caring for a newborn baby boy. I don't know if she will return to the editorial panel, but I hope she will do so one day Insha'Allah and I will keep her name on the list for now.

  9. Thanks brother Wael for reply. Masha Allah we have a little nephew. Congrats to Sister Noorah (if she reads this). May Allah bless her and the little baby boy too. I hope she will come back Insha Allah and will contribute like before and help the Ummah:)- Keep up the good work brothers and sisters. Only Allah can reward you guys for this great work.
I just want to appeal to all Muslim brothers and sisters or even non-Muslims who find this website helpful in anyway possible, should remember the UMMAH IN GENERAL AND PARTICULARLY,THOSE BROTHERS AND SISTERS WHO FORM THE PANEL AND SPARE THEIR TIME TO HELP SOLVE THE PROBLEMS OF PEOPLE WHO COME HERE FOR TO SEEK ADVICE:)- jazakumullah khair.

  10. Salam bakrah eid to everyone over her and to every muslim , may this year be greatfull and merciful to all the muslim around the world
    Ameen

  11. May is due to the time zone. Some countries are 7hours ahead of us, some 12hours etc., and for this reason there is a sort of confusion of celebrating it on thesame day but anyhow, the main thing to gain in it is the reward, spirituality, love and unity among the muslim ummah.. May Allah make us achieve this in this world and hereafter

    • Brother Mohd, Ameen to your prayer.

May Allah(swt) ease our ways to acquire knowledge that will open our Hearts to what is right and guide us in the straight Path. Ameen.

  24. I'm sorry by writing this its really disgusting me I feel like puke
But I'm really upset and angry and crying

While browsing internet I came up with the **** site faith freedom and that ali sina comments about our beloved prophet n islam

Im feeling so much angry that , if I see that person (ali sina ), i'm gonna suffer him till he goes to hell

I know anger is not allowed in islam and it can consume u but I hate myself for storming up that site and reading some of the comments made by these devils

How to get all of that out of my mind I'm really getting angry every minute remembering those comment made to our prophet

    • The enemies of Allah have always mocked the true faith. It does not hurt Allah, and cannot hurt Islam. And the Messenger of Allah (sws) is above whatever they say. So don't let it anger you. A day will come when they will see the truth all too clearly.

Allah says in the Quran, "They wish to extinguish the light of Allah with their mouths, but Allah will not allow except that His light be perfected, even if the disbelievers may hate it." (9:32)

Allah has protected the Quran, and this deen. I was just reading that in the last decade in the UK, many thousands of British people have converted to Islam. You see, no matter how the enemies of Islam try to defame our religion, it just grows.

Our way is to speak the truth, then leave the results with Allah. As for the ignorant who will not listen, leave them in their ignorance. Allah will deal with them.

      Wael
      IslamicAnswers.com Editor

    • Troublehood,

I know that site, full of nonsense. I too visited it, very many years ago and remember the anger.

Mashallah it is a great sign of Imaan that seeing something like that has disturbed you..if you were immune to someone slandering our beloved prophet (peace be upon him), THAT would have been something to worry about. So alhamdulillahi rabbil alameen that you have that love for Allah, His prophet and His deen that it hurts you to see someone slander against them.

Having said that, pay attention to what brother Wael has reminded you of...that which Allah reminds us of in the Quran.

And remember this: Allah not only Ar Rahmaan Ar Raheem..but He is also Allah the Jabbar, Qahhaar and Al Muntaqim.
Their day will come ... Hell was not created in vain.

      Was salaam.

  25. Can someone tell me this website so that i can see the hatred and lies against d prophet

    • Brother Mohd, it is best you don't visit the site. It will not benefit you in any way other than inciting feelings of hatred and anger in you too.

Also, by us visiting such sites, we are increasing their popularity and net score. Hence , we should be wary about even spreading info on sites that slander Islam because we are doing more evil than good though we do not notice - yes we may be warning the Muslims to be be aware but if we kept quiet and ignored their existence, it would be better in helping their extinction, or at the very least, reducing their net score.

      Was salaam

    • Plz do not visit that site , u will only harm yourself by doing so also ull indirectly promote their site help them become famous .

Secondly , what faith said as an muslim its also our jobs to give such ppl an answer so that they do never succed in their wicked propaganda

Ignoring , them or turning a blind eye over such propaganda will help us as it will stop our blood from boiling coz we believe that such things doesn't exits
But the truth is that , if we do not answer such hellmongers that its but natural that they will convince gullible muslim and non-muslim in thinking that whatever they are doing against islam is right that y no muslims r confronting them
Lastly , I m thankfully to many muslims who realise these treat and our clearing the misconception and giving these hellmongers a tough fight in not letting them succed in their propaganda .

May allah help muslim and non-muslim from such fitna

      • They have been answered a million times. They thrive on the controversy. The more attention we give them, the more it makes them seem legitimate in the eyes of the kuffar, and the more traffic they get. We should avoid such websites entirely. What does Allah tell us in the Quran about people who mock Allah? He tells us that we should not remain in their presence.

May Allah (swt) shower whole Muslim Ummah with HIS blessings and overlook our shortcomings and mistakes that we made before and throughout Ramadan and help us carry on with the spirit of Ramadan until next Ramadan. May HE accept our prayers/duas, supplication and other forms of Ibadah in recent month of Ramadan. May Allah (swt) have mercy on our brothers and sisters who are suffering all over the world from natural calamities such as Famine, Floods, Earthquakes, food shortages due to lack of rain and those who are suffering from war in Palestine, Kashmir, Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Pakistan and Ruhangya Muslims in Burma.
Brothers and sisters make special dua for your parents and those alive or who have passed away, people who were with us last year but couldn't make it this Ramadan. May Allah (swt) accept our prayers for them and raise their ranks in Jannah. May Allah (swt) bless us all with many more Ramadan providing us with the opportunity to repent for the sins we committed both knowing and unknowingly. Pray for those who are suffering from different illnesses, those who don't have parents or any relatives around them. Also, take forgive and try to forget those who have wronged you even if they have not realized it but do so because this is something Allah (swt) loves the most because is often FORGIVER.
I take this opportunity to ask forgiveness from all of you brothers and sisters who I may have wronged unintentionally driven by Shaytan in anger or got into argument with anyone of you unnecessarily.
