Prayed istikhara but can’t understand my dream
Dua for Istikhaarah
I prayed for my career since I was really confused.
I wanted to know whether I should do engineering or interior designing.
My dream I saw my room in dark my mom talking to someone about my career saying she wants me to do interior but I want to do engineering .
But I am probably sleeping there thinking I don't want to do engineering .
In reality my parents want me to do engineering.
What's this supposed to mean?

istikhara is not based on dreams, its more of a guidance from Allah through sequence of various events that direct you and support you to make the most suitable decision depending on the circumstance.
Search the archives if you are still unsure about how istikhara works, there are many answers already available.

i agree with demise , ill make it more easy for you. when you awake look at your condition if you were disturbed so that is sign of no and if you were relax that means yes , wallaho a'alam .

I think u should do engineering cause in your dream Interior desinging was spoken in a dark room which mean something to avoid but..... Your mom wants to engineering so it very i unclear
