I am student. It is biggest problem of my life.

I have this since from my childhood, I really hate it. I sweat, get shortness of breath, feel sick, headaches and I’m always close to tears. I don’t really know why I don’t like it, I just don’t. It frightens me.  I never get rid of it. I never attend classes regularly.

Any suggestion or guide that's help me to get rid of it.

  1. Are the studies the problem or being in school with other classmates? Does the same thing happen when you are at home studying alone?

  2. Assalam Alekum Brother,

When one of my daughters reached the age of 18, she started experiencing some of the characteristics you speak of. She became physically ill just having to attend class. She would sweat and literally just could not be there. She did not understand why...she had never in her life had this problem.

I took her to the doctors and she was diagnosed with Anxiety. She takes medication regularly and it has helped tremendously. She is able to attend class now and the only time she starts to have trouble is when she is off the medication. Inshallah some day in the near future she will be off of the med's but for now, it works for her. I would strongly advise you see a doctor and let them know what is going on with you and how you are feeling.

I know what you are going through as I went through it with my daughter. You are in your own hell and you don't know what to do or why you are behaving the way you are. Seek the advise of a good doctor.

    Salam

  3. Najah has given good advice. I would also add that you must attend class, because if you miss classes then you fall behind, and that will only increase your anxiety about going to class.

You might also consider an online program or a distance learning program. But there are only short-term solutions. Eventually you will enter the workforce and it will be the same thing, unless you find the root cause and treat it.
