My husband has married a revert who has now gone back to christianity
br i am a sunni muslim women. my husband is also sunni. he gone for2nd marriage with a christian lady who converted before marriage now 4 yrs complete. Now she is practising her christianity. She is praying in that way she is reciting bible everyday. what is the status of marriage. is it still valid? Or is it broken she is creating problem 4 me also. Creating difference between me and my husband. If the marriage is not valid then pls help me with some supplication to throw her away from my life.

Salaam sorry to hear about this predicament.
I am not sure about the validity of their marriage. Did they do an Islamic Nikah, was there witnesses, a mahr and her wali present? Islamically a Muslim man can marry a Christian or Jewish woman so provided that they had a valid nikah from the start then logically their marriage would still be valid even if she is now a Christian. However it may be good for you to check with a scholar to make sure of this, especially if you are not sure about the nikah. InshaAllah another editor can elaborate if I have not provided enough info or correct me if I am wrong.

If she is causing you problems, maybe you should sit down with your husband and her and try to come to some agreement. Try not to be accusing. Just let her know it hurts you when she creates problems and please can we learn to get on. This may be easier said than done though.

The other wife was a Muslim when he married her and now she has left islam, sister your husband needs to see a sheikh asap, i no Muslim man can marry Jewish and Christian women, but this woman has LEFT islam so does not matter what she is now.
