Having difficulty interpreting istikhara for marriage
The guy and I have been together for about 4 months but we decided to stay away from haraam, as his mum didn't want us going about it like this.
He did istikhara and had a dream with his family then of him reclining against something and becoming uneasy. The sunset was orange and peach and deep orange and its darkest.
I had a dream of me in a room with people searching for the truth. At the end of the dream I thought I can tell him I saw green or white but then I was unsure if I was jst saying it coz I wanted it to be positive. Then I started thinking of things like oh but the man's watch was white this was green etc..
After fajr I had another dream of me and him talking and everything was fine... and I think we were laughing..
Is it negative or positive for me and him?

Istikhara is about asking Allah sincerely for guidance, then doing the action that feels right in your heart and trusting that Allah will answer your prayer and guide you to the result that is best for you.

i prayed istikhara for 7 days but i didn't get any feeling or dream i don't know thats means bad or good but inshallah am wishing that will be good insha allah asalamu aleykum
Leila, the Istikhara prayer does not have to result in a dream or even a "feeling". You just pray, then make the best decision you can and trust that Allah is guiding you to the best path. Read some of our articles about Istikhara to learn more (links at the top of the website).
