    I don't really know about the permissability of a male shaving anything other than the recommended areas. I think the stronger question is, why do you want to? I know cyclists do it for their sport, but outside of that I have never known cases of males wanting to do so except if they are struggling with their sexual identity.

    What are bands? I have no clue what you are referring to on that one.

    • I would guess that he means wrist bands, though he might mean hair bands.

      Brother, we are not muftis or scholars, and your questions are a bit outside our normal subject matter. But what I know is that the rule in Islam is that it is forbidden for men to imitate the dress of women, and vice versa. So if you are asking about wrist bands, the question is whether it is a wrist band typically worn by women. If it's pretty and gold, then yes, it's forbidden.

      On the other hand I've seen some wrist bands designed for men, usually made of leather. And sometimes there are wrist bands for special causes, and the ones for men usually have darker colors.
