Dream About Proposal in Marriage

I am male 27 years old and I am quite unstable at my work and have gain weight  in 1 1/2 years. My parent went to home country to sell off the house. I am curently not talking to my sisters. Due to some harsh conversations from them.

I want to get married though. Actually it is about my dream. I dreamed that my sisters and mom went to their friend house (doubt )where my marriage with a girl is talked and girl parent want to see me so i went to see and wanted to meet a to be wife. So as per Islamic law we see ewch other and we really liked each other. But we dont know each other so she want to talk to me. Then we went on a walk and i cared for her and did my best to be by her side and also i see my sisters and her family to be close to us. Then I saw my sisters are having sweets along with my in laws family anf offered me to have some yummy unknown dry fruit which is my to be wife favorite. I ate and praised that this is really nice. Then i also pick my fav chocolate ferroro rocher as i am fond of it After that everything was finalized but their parent said that this guy have to lose weight and i said that i will and they said so next year we will fix a date but i stood and said InshaAllah i will be losing weight and be marrying this year. And my sisters who were eating sweets shocked that how i can lose weight this fast. I was really positive.

After that it took me different dream where i dont know there is a house we almost get it but in the last my brother was not happy because someone saying him to not support us and me along with my sister said that he shouldnt listen to them and i opeened.

Please i need dream interpretation

  1. Assalaamualaykum Tahseen,

I don't know too much about dream interpretation but one thing that seems clear is that there is much to be thankful for in this dream! You are meeting a girl you want to marry, you care for her lovingly, and eat delicious sweets and Ferrero Rocher...I wouldn't say it's a telling of what's to come or anything like that, but if it helps you be more positive and think happy thoughts, then nothing wrong with recounting this dream whenever you feel down 🙂

  2. Assalamu alaykum my brother,

Masha Allah. May Allah bless your dream. But first things first.

You mention that you and your sisters are not talking to each other. I wish to raise the seriousness of this as it can have bad consequences in both worlds. Allah curses those who sever the ties of kinship. ''...Would you then, if you were given the authority, do mischief in the land, and sever your ties of kinship? Such are they whom Allah has cursed, so that He has made them deaf and blinded their sight. Do they not then think deeply in the Quran, or are their hearts locked up (from understanding it)?’ [Muhammad 47:22-24].”

It was narrated from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man said: O Messenger of Allah, I have relatives with whom I try to keep in touch, but they cut me off. I treat them well, but they abuse me. I am patient and kind towards them, but they insult me. He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “If you are as you say, then it is as if you are putting hot ashes in their mouths. Allah will continue to support you as long as you continue to do that.”
    Narrated by Muslim, 2558

So whatever the problem is, at least keep contact with your sisters even if it's minimal to honour the bond of kinship.

As for your dream, a good dream is from Allah subhana wa ta 'ala. The Prophet, (salallahu alayhi wa sallam) said:
“Dreams are of three types: glad tidings from Allaah, what is on a person’s mind, and frightening dreams from the Shaytaan. If any of you sees a dream that he likes, let him tell others of it if he wishes, but if he sees something that he dislikes, he should not tell anyone about it, and he should get up and pray.”
    (Saheeh Sunan Ibn Maajah, 3154)

So brother, ask Allah to bless this dream for you because you saw much good in it, masha Allah.

When something good happens to you always say for yourself, 'Masha Allah la quwwata illa billah' - That which Allah wills! There is no power but with Allah.

“It was better for you to say, when you entered your garden: `That which Allah wills! There is no power but with Allah!’ If you see me less than you in wealth, and children,” Surah Al-Kahf (18:39)

And don't think too much about it. Instead focus on attaining nearness to Allah by perfecting your salah (namaz) and treating others with good manners, mercy and justice. If you find Allah willing marriage for you, then make istikhara (consulting Allah before taking a decision) and unless you see reason to leave that thing, proceed with and Allah will take care of it for you.

    How to pray istikhara -

May Allah bless you. All good is from Allah and anything wrong I said, is my from myself.
