Islamic marriage advice and family advice

I have a crush on a famous dancer, could dua bring him to me?

Male dancerHello brothers and sisters. I have a crush on a dancer. Firstly when i started having a crush i didn't know music is haram so i listened to his music. But now that i know i have stopped listening to his music and other haram stuff.

He is non muslim. But he doesn't drink or sleep around with girls. He is a good guy. I make dua for him so he can come on to the right path and that he accepts Islam. He is on my mind 24/7.

I think if I continue to make dua maybe if Allah wills we can get married. After all he is just a normal person like you and me. He loves dancing so being famous just comes with the job. And he is not from bts.

Please share your opinions with me.

  1. Asalamualaykum SIster,

I understand that you have feelings for this celebrity, which most likely resemble infatuation. To be honest, I wish I could give you an "A ok" to delve further into this and see where it takes you, but honestly, I think this is just too much of a stretch.

It is true that Allah is capable of everything...even the "impossible." However, circumstances still have to be created by Him and Him alone such that you would have the opportunity to marry this guy in real life. Right now, he doesn't know you exist, and many celebrities don't even check all of their fan mail. Furthermore, he probably gets fan mail from girls all the time. What would convince him to separate yours from the pack? Basically, what I'm saying is that you need to be realistic and grounded or you set yourself up for tremendous pain.

I think it is a beautiful thing that you are making dua for him to turn to Islam. Let him do that first Inshallah, because before he does that, there is not even a minute chance you could or should be with him.

You are young I presume...crushes will come and go, and before long, he will be out of your mind. Please don't dwell on this too much and sacrifice living mindfully in the present.

I don't mean to take away your hope...you should definitely keep up hope in life...this dancer may not be the right subject for it.

    Hugs,

    Nor
