He broke the engagement after his father’s death, is Allah Angry with me?
Reasons?
1. If wife comitted fornication before marriage but after that she repents much and prays a lot to seek forgivenss from God is it neccesary that she should also seek forgivenss from her husband after marriage?
2. I got engaged about 6 months ago my in laws and fiancee were loving, our marriage was fixed but unfortunately my father in law died suddenly before one month that way our marriage was delayed but after death behaviour of my fiancee had chnged and he broke the relation just after his father's chehlum (Editor's note: a feast 40 days past the death of a person, part of the culture in the subcontinent).
I am much depressed now i don't knw how this has happend. i want to knw that is Allah angry with me that is why this happen or Allah want betterment of mine.

if the wife repents much and prays a lot to seek forgiveness from Allah then it is not necessary to expose the sin to her husband etc.
also im sorry to hear about your future father in-law who past away. Inna Lillahi wa inna ilaihi raji'un (To Allah swt we belong and to HIM is our return)
I want you to understand, your father in-law didn't pass away because Allah was angry with you. every soul shall taste death at an appointed time. and this happened to be the time.
you also said fiancee had changed and he broke the relation? you got to understand he must be having a really hard time, give him time to settle back in the mean time pray to Allah ask him to make things easy for him/family and yourself inshallah.

I agree with what you said, mashAllah, it was everything I had wanted to say to the sister. One thing I want to add is that you fiance has suffered a great loss and is going through tremendous heart break by losing his father ( Inna Lillahi wa inna ilaihi rajioon (To Allah swt we belong and to HIM is our return) ) and the last thing he wants to think of may be marriage. Think about it, if you were in his place how would you feel? Would you want a little space to cool off? Give him that little space. May Allah make it easier for you.
