Praying during miscarriage

I have a quick question. Can you pray with pre miscarriage bleeding for a blighted ovum within the first trimester ? The bleeding can take up to few weeks on and off before you actually miscarry naturally but can one pray namaz and Quran in that time. Since i understand that post miscarriage you can pray if the soul was not breathed and if the features were not formed but i cannot find the answer to before miscarriage.
Thanks.

I'm not actually sure of the answer to your question - inshaAllah, someone with more knowledge of this area may be able to give more authoritative advice.
From what I've read about prayer, bleeding and miscarriage, I would think that, if the bleeding is not menstrual or after the first trimester, it can be considered as bleeding due to illness (the illness in this case being the blighted ovum meaning the pregnancy could not be viable). If we have bleeding due to illness (including bleeding from our private parts), we should perform ghusl and ensure we have appropriate dressings or bandages in place (depending on where the bleeding is coming from), and then we can pray as usual.
I'm sorry for your loss.
