  2. Assalamualaikum,

Possibilities are: someone is trying to scare you or you are imagining things or Shaitaan is doing this.

Regarding your health, you people should consult qualified medical practitioners and do a check-up. Take their advise on what you can do to keep yourself healthy, and act upon it.

Make your home filled with Eemaan and Allah's Worship. Recite the Quraan and supplicate day and night. Eliminate any act of disobedience and shirk from your home. Worship Allah with sincerity.

And remember the following Ahadeeth, close your doors and windows at Maghrib:

Narrated Jâbir ﺭَﺿِﻲَ اﻟﻠﻪُ ﻋَﻨْﻪُ : The Prophet ﺻﻠﻰ اﻟﻠﻪ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ said, ``When night falls, then keep your children close to you, for the devils spread out then. An hour later you can let them free; and close the gates of your house (at night), and mention Allâh's Name thereupon, and put off your lights, mention Allâh's Name thereupon and cover your utensils, and mention Allâh's Name thereupon, (and if you don't have something to cover your utensil) you may put across it something (e.g., a piece of wood etc.).'' (Bukhari)

Narrated Jâbir bin `Abdullâh ﺭَﺿِﻲَ اﻟﻠﻪُ ﻋَﻨْﻬُﻤﺎ : Allâh's Messenger ﺻﻠﻰ اﻟﻠﻪ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ said, ``When night falls (or it is evening), keep your children close to you for the devils spread out at that time. But when an hour of the night elapses, you can let them free. Close the doors and mention the Name of Allâh, for Satan does not open a closed door.'' (Bukhari)

    • I agree with brother Abu Abdul Bari. I also would emphasize that you should investigate whether someone is playing a cruel prank on you, as far as the images at the windows, etc.

Secondly, make sure you get good medical checkups. The constant illness could be due to some environmental toxins, such as carbon monoxide poisoning, lead paint, mold, or other sources.

And, as Abu Abdul Bari said, keep your home filled with the name of Allah.

I am not ruling out the possibility of something more unusual (Jinn, etc). However, first you should investigate the more ordinary explanations.

  3. ASSALAMAIAKAUM.......JIN AND THEIR TYPES : INTERESTING
The word Jinn in `Arabic refers to something that is concealed and hidden.
The creation of Jinn (Iblees) preceded that of Man (Aadam):

    Allaah تعالى says: {And indeed, We created man from dried (sounding) clay of altered mud;
while before him We had created Jinn from smokeless fire.} [Surah al-Hijr (15): 26-27]

Iblees is a Jinn and not a “fallen angel/Angel”:
    DIFFERENT TYPES/CATEGORIES OF JINNS

a.Those who are good and are Muslims, will enter Paradise:

Jinn cannot be seen by Humans in their original form
Jinns most oftenly are found in abandoned settlements and buildings, the open dessert. They also occupy places of impurity like toilets, garbage – dumps, and graveyards. Soofi (mystic) saints (Peer Babas) who perform satanic feast often retreat to such places where devils most often reside.
DUAS TO PROTECT FROM EVIL EYE (BURI NAZAR), JINS AND BLACK MAGIC

Allah and his Messenger (s.a.w) taught us how to stay protected from every kind of evil. be it a sin or be it an evil from an extra terrestial source like Jins and etc. one such method of protecting ourselves is not by hanging taweedh (which btw is haraam and in some cases Shirq too) but by constantly praising, remembering and seeking protection from Allah the proof of which comes from the hadith :

It was narrated from al-Haarith al-Ash’ari that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Allaah commanded Yahyaa ibn Zakariyah (peace be upon him) five things to follow and to enjoin upon the Children of Israel… and he commanded them to remember Allaah, and the likeness of that is a man who was being pursued by the enemy, until he reached a strong fortress in which he found protection; similarly a man cannot find protection from the Shaytaan except by remembering Allaah…”
    SEEKING PROTECTION USING QURANIC VERSES

CATEGORY A - VERY STRONG AND USEFUL DUAS IN THIS REGARDS

1 – Reciting Aayat al-Kursiy [al-Baqarah 2:255] Everyday preferably thrice morning and evening i.e. whenever u get up and as soon as Maghrib falls or you can also read it once. there is no limit or restriction so as to how many times should we recite.

[Ref: Sahih Bukhari, Hadith no. 4624or hadith no. 3101]

2 – Reciting The below mentioned surahs are compulsory with proper pronounciaton -
Surah Al Ikhlaas - preferable to read 3 times morning and evening each
Surah Al Falaq - preferable to read 3 times morning and evening each
Surah Al Nas - preferable to read 3 times morning and evening each

“Hasbi Allaahu laa ilaaha illa huwa, ‘alayhi tawakkaltu wa huwa Rabb ul-‘arsh il-‘azeem

(Allaah is sufficient for me. none has the right to be worshipped but He. in Him I put my trust and He is the Lord of the Mighty Throne)”

    [Al-Tawbah 9:129 – interpretation of the meaning]

4 – Reciting the last two aayahs of Soorat al-Baqarah (verse no. 285 & 286) at the beginning of the night. These are the aayahs which are very strong against shaitaan and evil.

    [Ref: Sahih Muslim 807]

It was narrated from al-Nu’maan ibn Basheer (may Allaah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Allaah inscribed a book two thousand years before He created the heavens and the earth, from which the last two aayahs of Soorat al-Baqarah were revealed. If they are recited for three nights, no shaytaan (devil)will remain in the house)

[Ref: Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, 2882. This hadeeth was classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Jaami’, 1799]
5- It was narrated from Abu Hurayrah that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever says “Laa ilaaha ill-Allaah wahdahu laa shareeka lah, lahu’l-mulk wa lahu’l-hamd wa huwa ‘ala kulli shay’in qadeer” one hundred times in the day, will have a reward equivalent to that of freeing ten slaves, one hundred hasanahs (good deeds) will be recorded for him, and one hundred sayi’ahs (bad deeds) will be erased from his record, and it will be protection for him from the Shaytaan for that day, until evening comes. No one could achieve any better than him except the one who does more than he did.”

    [Ref: narrated by al-Bukhaari, 31119; Muslim, 2691]
PROTECTION USING DUAS PROVEN FROM SUNNAH

Preferable to Recite the below 3 times each - morning (preferably whenever you get up) and evening (maghrib or asap). reciting it one time is also okay. there is no limit or restriction so as to how many times should we recite. Please note certain dua's have the number of times mentioned in them like the one mentioned below:

U'eezu (singular : Aoozu) bi kalimaat Allaah al-taammati min kulli shaytaanin wa haammah wa min kulli ‘aynin laammah

(I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allaah, from every devil and every poisonous reptile, and from every evil eye).’”
Note : The Dua mentioned above, is the dua which rasool s.a.w used to recite
to protect Al-Hassan r.a and Al-Hussayn r.a. hence he used to word U’eedhukuma ( I seek protection for you two ). But if one wants to protect himself, he should say – Aaudhu (i.e. I seek refuge {for me} as mentioned in the roman English transliteration) instead of U’eedhukuma

Transliteration of the above dua'a : U`eedhukumaa bi kalimaat Allaah al-taammaati min kulli shaytaanin wa haammah wa min kulli `aynin laammah (I seek refuge for you both in the perfect words of Allaah, from every devil and every poisonous reptile, and from every evil eye).” [Sunan al-Tirmidhee (2060), Sunan Abu Dawood (4737) and Sunan Ibn Maajah (3525) and graded as “Saheeh” by Shaikh al-Albaanee]. And he would say: “Thus Ibraaheem used to seek refuge with Allaah for Ishaaq and Ismaa’eel عليهم السلام.” [Saheeh al-Bukhaaree (3371)]

[Another Ref: Narrated by al-Bukhaari, Ahaadeeth al-Anbiyaa’, 3120]

    8). أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّاتِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ

A’oodhu bi kalimaatiAllaah hitaammahti min sharri ma khalaq (THRICE)

The Prophet (s.a.w) said: “Whoever stops to rest and says, ‘A’oodhu bi kalimaat Allaah il-taammah min sharri ma khalaq (I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allaah from the evil of that which He has created),’ nothing will harm him until he moves on from that place.”

HOPE THE ABOVE REPORT ON JINSS THEN QURAN VERSES FOR PROTECTION AND HADEES DUAS FOR PROTECTION IS USEFUL
IT IS NOTHING OT BE WORRIED AS THE STAN JINNS HAVE SURROUNDED US EVEN WHEN I A TYPING THIS FOR YOU JUST YOU HAVE TO KEEP THEM AWAY BY GRASPING THE ROPE OF ALLAH-

  4. Assalam' alaikum
My dear sister. Some things cannot b explained but experienced and such experiences r hard to deal with. Gladly Quran is very powerful. My parents were staying abroad so our family home was locked for over a yr. When we opened it once my mum got back (not dad, he stays abroad) it didnt feel the same. I might just sound like a nut job but it felt like it was haunted. The t.v would switch on in the middle of night on its own and the volume of the television would suddenly get loud without any1 even touching the remote and it was all unexplained. One day my mother felt like some1 just walked past very swiftly but there was no1 in the house and so she called me in panic and my youngest sis who was staying in the hostel and we both rushed to her. She kept ill for a long time and what was most annoying about the whole wierd thing was a smell, a certain smell that emited from one corner of the house. The corner where we had the television unit. At first we thought mother was lonely and so she is imagining, we also brushed aside the other phenomenons as coincidents. We thought the maid of the house wasnt doing the job right so we took the task of cleaning that room ourselves. We shifted every piece of furniture even the heavy ones. Sprayed disinfectants, floor cleaners.. We even scrubbed the floor and the walls but nope. The smell was there, and it was just as strong as ever. No amount of air sprays ever helped. We could not feel free to invite any1 over and those who came anyway couldnt ignore the smell. More than it would embarass us it was a curious case. A mix of a dead rat, old sock and rotten garbage, eww.
i was leaving for a vacation that yr with my family and i didnt know what to do with my pet rabbit so i left it at my mom's. After a fortnight when we came back, my healthy bouncy rabbit looked like a frail dying rat and it just kept hiding under that television unit. My mother had showed him to every possible well known vet in the town but he would neither eat nor sleep but the minute he reached my home he was lively again. So we knew it wasnt as simple as we thought.
Surah Baqr is a very powerful Surah sister. Its over 2 chapters long and reading it everyday isnt easy so i played the audio loud enough for it to echo in every corner of the house. I just had to do it 3 days at a stretch and the smell had finally gone, just as mysteriously as it had generated., my mother never saw any shadows or heard any sound again. The television began to behave like it is supposed to and alhamdolillah the house is more peaceful.
sister plz take my advice and play the audio of Surah baqr in ur house everyday, when it is being recited make sure every1 sits and listens to the recitation. Also recite ayat al kursi b4 going to bed. Keep ur house clean and maintain ur wudu at all times. Also talk about ur problem to a trusted imam.

  5. -Make sure you and your husband have no music or images in the house. even on toothpastes or cereal boxes

-Make sure you both pray the 5 prayers on time regularly.

-Do your morning and evening azkar

-First thing in the morning: eat 7 dates followed my honey mixed in water (1 cup is fine)

-Read surah baqarah in your home. (when u finish, blow in water). Also read ayah kursi, surah fatiha and surah falaq and naas and then drink from this daily and also spray in all corners/walls of your house daily.

-Read these same and also blow into olive oil and put that all over your body daily after a daily shower. you and your husband both. Also eat a teaspoon of this olive oil morning and night.

-Do bukhoor(incense) in your home and keep it very clean. dishes/trash..everything. be clean.

-make sure your personal hygiene is good.

-Do alot of dhikr yourself: istighfar/ "Allahuma salle wa sallim ala nabiyyna muhammad"/la hawla wa quwatta illa billa. read this ALOT daily maybe more than a 100 each.

-Also read alot surah fatiha, ayah kursi, surah falaq and surah nas.

-Make sure the people you invite in your home or go to see are good righteous people and do not eat food from people where you are uncomfortable.

inshallah ya rab, if you stick to the sunnah and seek help with Allah alone, inshallah any evil from your home and house will be repelled.

  6. Salam,

You may be in need of ruqya. I would advise you and your husband consult a knowledgable and trustworthy 'aalim who can advise you correctly about this situation and how to deal with it. The basics have already been mentioned above. Also consider this as a blessing in disguise, and a test from Allah SWT (insha Allah He will give you abundant reward, blessings, and forgiveness of sins through this trial). May Allah give you patience ameen.

Realize that you must make some lifestyle changes in order to overcome this problem, and stick to them. Insha Allah, Allah SWT wishes to draw you closer to him through this trial.
