Our brother has developed wrong ideas about Islam, how can we help him?
asalam o alaikum w.r.t.b!
I am a medical student from pakistan. me and my family are in a big problem.. as it happens, without our knowledge my brother (who is my class fellow) read some anti islamic novels and books mostly of the author Uzma Aslam khan, in which she wrote some ayats and denied the truth of them...
now my bro is believing the author's words.. also he has read other books and articles ,thus is becoming a secularist.. and also has shown interest in boys instead of girls. 🙁
...we are deeply hurt...we are practicing muslims, no one near us has ever done so.. my dad has tried a lot to guide him back to islam but in vain.... we need help how to guide him,he is a good boy. not much mature... he just got some wrong ideas in his mind..
please help us.. may Alah give u ajar e azeem!

this requires a systematic approach, you need to know what wrong ideas are in his head first, if you do not, visit the literature you know he has read and look at the ideas it places into your mind, and then look at ways of refuting those ideas...this will then win back your brother and make him aware of the t4ricks used to lure people away from Islam...I am not aware of the work of Uzma Aslam khan, but you should also read it, and ask your brother to explain his new position, take his arguments, bring them back here if you have to and then they can be assessed and you can be advised on how to tackle the problem.
Allah guides who he wills, we can only but try.

first u need to tell him about the creation of human on the earth, definitely adam and hawwa started life on earth and both were muslim. at that time also shaitan (iblis) was there to divert the muslims from the right path. now same thing is happening with your brother. tell him to search the literature that who is right. shaitan will always divert the muslims in some way. pray to allah and guide him properly.

If he is misguided by an evil minded person, he must go to an authentic Mufti. Put all ill doubts against Islam has been created by somebody infront of Mufti. Ask him about this . Inshallah all doubts and misleaded thoughts that has been come to his mind, will be removed.. .
