My husband is not sure about Islam
Doubt
I have a question regarding my husband. I am seperated from him right now. The situation is: he converted to islam when we first got married, months later, he told me that he doesn't believe in Islam yet he's not sure if it the truth. He used to celebrate Christmas and all the non-Islamic holidays.
Now that I left and we have been apart for 6 months, he tells me that he does not believe in any religion but he is willing to learn about Islam, he will attend the masjid and learn more, under the condition that I come back to help him through it because it is a big change he says.
We have a little girl together, I'm not sure on what I need to do.
please help me.

I personally believe that you need to be crystal clear with him. Tell him that you do love and care for him but you cannot live with him as his wife unless he is Muslim; although you will support him as much you can through his search for the truth. Re-assure him that you will wait for him, but there will be many limits and you will not be able to have any husband wife relations, nor have a dating/courting relationship until/unless he fully accepts Islam. Do not be harsh or impatient with him as the last thing that will draw him towards Islam is harshness.
Maybe suggest ways of him learning about Islam to make it easier for him, ie go to a qualified Imaam with him.
