Islamic marriage advice and family advice

Is someone doing sihr to keep us apart and not to marry each other? How can we get rid of it?

Suspicion, suspicious thoughts

Salams,

The man that I love is being forced to marry another woman due to religious views. He has tried explaining to his father about me yet his father won't allow our marriage. The man I love, says he loves me but theres nothing he can do to stop the engagement. Today, I was informed that someone was doing work to keep him away from me; sihr/magic came into mind. How can one get rid of sihr?

  1. Salaams,

A lot of times there is no way to tell for sure if sihr is a factor in the things that happen to us. I can tell you certainly that there are a lot of situations where a boy and a girl love each other and want to marry each other, but one (or both) of them are being coerced or manipulated into marrying someone else, and these situations have nothing to do with sihr.

It sounds like this person cared about you a lot, but he wass simply not willing to make whatever sacrifices would have been necessary to be with you. It may be that he was not willing to risk losing his connection with his family, which is not necessarily a bad thing. Do you know for sure what would have been the price he would have to pay if he pursued you against his parents wishes? Sometimes the cost just isn't worth it.

The bottom line is, regardless of what influences may have been involved, he has made his choice and has committed himself to another woman. Unless he decides to take you as his second wife, it may be best for you to close this chapter and work on opening a new one for yourself. There are many men that you can potentially fall in love with out there, so let the past be the past and start focusing on your future.

  2. I dont know how but it is a good idea if both of you read surat al bagara everyday, it is real good and it protect us from everything as far as i know

  3. I read Sura baqra for more then 40 days,it is in hadith if read once shaitaan cant enter house for three days, sometimes for some peaple it doesnt work coz Allah wants to examine us that how much we have beleive in Quran,so one has to be patient and pray to Allah.on the sehr note i would say,it is possible,my hubby and me are suffering from this situation,we are getting treated....i am 50 % better than before, but it is said that the thing on which a sehr is done should be cleared out untill then attacks are again n again done by magician.i am not ok with hubby quarrels with him on a simple word, beats my daughter badly,i can feel that i am not doing all this, asks for talaaq, but my hubby understands this that its not me and tolerates a lot.MAy Allah grant him more patience and a good result out of it.

Sister getting treated is not so very imp,you can do yuorself, bcos shifa is in Allah's hands not in the sheikhs hand.
devotedly with full faith ask Allah that whoever has done sehr please by your grace and by your angels destroy that thing on which it is done.
