Despairing and lost

prisoner, trapped, can't escape, depressed, leave, escape, confined

Assalamu alaikum

I need really help please help me. At this moment my problem is I think my life is worthless. Everything I lose. I cannot concentrate on my study. Always I feel despair. All my friends and relative have good position in their life but why has Allah given me this horrible life?

Sometimes I torture myself. I think that I am nothing. Why did Allah create me and if Allah created me then why did he choose me to give this worthless life? Allah has many slaves then why he created me?

This year I do all ramadan fasting but I think my ramadan fasting is not accepted by Allah because 1 year ago I performed black magic, I do shirk, I am a kafir. I am the enemy of Allah. I have curse of Allah. Sometime I decide to do suicide. I make dua to Allah for my death.

Why did Allah give me this worthless life? Please help me as soon as possible. Please I need help.

  2. As Salam O Alaikum

Brother i think you should ward off all the negative thoughts you have in your mind initially.

Secondly ALLAH has no enemy no one has got those guts so when you calling yourself as ALLAHs Enemy that is where you are doing shirk. As the Day starts the night follows so is it with Life. No one is consistent in this game called Life . Everyone has to go through ups and downs what matters is the Willpower to overcome all downs and manage the ups.

About you doing Shirk Black magic and all that you have mentioned a year ago. Then brother sorry to say but WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND. But yet ALLAH has given you the Option to repent do TOUBA . And also stop comparing yourself with others. Rather be so competent that others will compare themselves with you in your good norms.

Dont be a Fanatic and just depend on ALLAH to do all is well rather you also have to work towards it to make it the best and when you do that you will definately see ALLAH helping you in that. But if you just sit ideally without taking any initiative for yourself waiting for ALLAH to do things for you wouldnt help. ALLAH loves those who Love themselves. So rather than being disgraceful about this beautiful life which you have got be THANKFUL and protect yourself from any SHIRK or wrong doings.

    Rest ALLAH maalik ..

Regards and best of best wishes

  3. Asalam alaikum brother Habib,

This is the main problem in our lives: ourselves. What we think of ourself as compared to others is always worse. Some might say this is a virtue to be so humble, but I see from your post that you might have a very negative outlook on life. This needs to change, please brother.

The main cause of negative thinking is that we are alone, and have so much time to think of ourselves. The cure is to get out of your house and HELP OTHERS. Surprisingly this takes care of most of your problems. For example, 1) you cannot be alone if you are helping others, 2) helping others makes sawab for you, and you can use this as a base to return to Islam with a new purpose, and 3) you will gain the respect of others when they see you are always volunteering and helping the less fortunate.

You can do this, brother! Pray to Allah swt for forgiveness, and move on. The past is the past, and we cannot change it, so do not let it get in the way of your future.

    Hope I could help,
    Shereen

  4. Allah has no enemy. And he does not hate you. It is shaitan that makes you think like that when you are frustrated. You problem is frustration and not Allah.

Not everyone gets a perfect life. Look at people below you, people in countries facing War situation, look at people who are disabled, look at people who are more poor than you and have no food or clothes. Look around you and realize that you are much better than milllion of people. So what if you dont have few tings with others have. Learn to be thankful to Allah. Avoid kufr and black magic. Allah is biggest forgiver. He made your keep Fast during Ramadan even after so much frustration in your mind indicates that Allah loves you. You are seeing Allah's mercy and love its a blessing in itself as well. Try to love yourself and value ur life.

  5. Try to read more and more the TAWHEED....InshaALLAH you will get the way out your GRIEFS and UNCERTAINTIES towards your belief and Imaan in general.

  6. Assalam alaikum Dear Brother,

Please read and consider the following. Please take your time to really reflect on every line. When you do, please ignore all of shaitaan's whispers and be extremely positive. You will have to fight, using your will power, to ignore the whispers of shaitaan:

    Al-Imran [3:123-125]
"And already had Allah given you victory at [the battle of] Badr while you were few in number. Then fear Allah ; perhaps you will be grateful.
[Remember] when you said to the believers, "Is it not sufficient for you that your Lord should reinforce you with three thousand angels sent down?
Yes, if you remain patient and conscious of Allah and the enemy come upon you [attacking] in rage, your Lord will reinforce you with five thousand angels having marks [of distinction]"

As you may know, Allah swt made it appear to the non-Muslims that the numbers of the Muslims were great--this not only caused the victory for the Muslims, but the perception alone caused fear in the hearts of the non-Muslims. There is a lesson in that. You have this perception that you are worthless and others are not, that somehow it is a mistake for that you exist, that somehow you are not deserving of Allah swt's Forgiveness. Brother, your perception of yourself and others is what is destroying more than the reality--just like the people of Quraish lost the battle of bad simply due to their perception of how they were outnumbered. It was Allah swt's choice to make it appear so for them.

You need to understand that you life is a battle and much in your life, just like for others, is perception. You should focus on making your now better than your past--as that is all you can change. Allah swt says in the Quran:

    [3:136]
Those - their reward is forgiveness from their Lord and gardens beneath which rivers flow [in Paradise], wherein they will abide eternally; and excellent is the reward of the [righteous] workers.

So, not only is Jannah a reward--but forgiveness is in fact a reward--it is not just the people who deserve Jannah that will enter Jannah--BUT, those who seek Allah swt's pardon and forgiveness by accepting their mistakes and rectifying their mistakes. You should not give up.

Stop thinking so much about the past and the future. Make the moment of now better. Do your best to pray, ask Allah swt to forgive you, help others and so on. Simply do your best. Do not become trapped in the perception of how great the life of others is--maybe it is only made to appear that way to you as a test for you.

May Allah swt ease your pain, Ameen.

  7. When you talk like that you are not being 'humble'. You are cursing Allah by saying he cannot forgive. Allah says 'I am as my servant thinks of me'. If you keep saying Allah is merciful and he will forgive then he will, remember that hazrat umar radiyallahuanhu wanted to kill the prophet saw, hazrat Khalid and Abu Sufyan led armies against the Muslims, imam malik bin dinar used to be a drunkard and fudayl ibn Iyaad used to be a bandit but Allah forgave them and they all became the greatest people of our time. Brother we all love you for the sake of Allah trust meas long as your making taubah forget about it your forgiven just act like nothing happened continue to remain fresh and happy in your life and increase your duas and recitation of Quran.

  8. Brother, you are not worthless. Allah will never make a person worthless. You made mistakes, yes. But Allah is a forgiving God. Repent adn ask for forgiveness and He will forgive you.
