Mom’s affair
Worst. Advice. Ever.
hello guys i want to discuss the topic about my mom she have an extra marritorial affair with a young guy she is 39 so how should i react to this situation as am disappointed with my mom's act but at the same time i think that apart of this affair she had given me all the happiness she had fullfill all her duties as a mom and due to the age difference b/w mom and dad they are too close .apart of this she have a physical relationship with the same guy so what should be my approach toward this matter.

Your mother should have never given you the information she did. It is wrong for parents to drag their children into their marriage problems in detail. Keep out of it. Do not get involved. If the subject comes up again, tell your mother the subject is too difficult for you to talk about. That you are not the one she be discussing her sex life with. Or simply that she should make taubah for her sins. That usually makes people back off. You, yourself can make dua for yourself, for your family.
asallam o alikum brother if you already knew now about your mother affair than its your duty to stop her because whatever she is doing for you is every parents job and what is your duty to safe your mom from doing sin you should teach her guide her according to islam that she is doing wrong and that Allah does not like this things and how our prophet pbuh stop us from doing such things in quran Allah say And come not near to unlawful sex. Verily, it is a Fahishah (i.e. anything that transgresses its limits: a great sin, and an evil way that leads one to Hell unless Allah forgives him).”

Do you not know that Allah sees you wherever you are, and He hears you when you speak?
Do you not remember the great blessings that Allah has bestowed upon you? For He is the One Who heals you when you are sick, the One Who feeds you when you are hungry and gives you to drink when you are thirsty. And He has given you the greatest blessing that He has bestowed upon mankind, the blessing of Islam.

And those who invoke not any other ilah (god) along with Allah, nor kill such a person as Allah has forbidden, except for just cause, nor commit illegal sexual intercourse and whoever does this shall receive the punishment.
The torment will be doubled for him on the Day of Resurrection, and he will abide therein in disgrace;
Except those who repent and believe (in Islamic Monotheism), and do righteous deeds; for those, Allah will change their sins into good deeds, and Allah is Oft‑Forgiving, Most Merciful.
And whosoever repents and does righteous good deeds; then verily, he repents towards Allah with true repentance.”
[25:68-71]
ask your mom to stop from doing these things and start working on her deen Allah is aware of everything people do indeed he love to forgive his people so please try to explain her and any question more you can ask will help to answer according to islam and try to help insha Allah its your duty to stop now if you came to knew that

She is your Mother but if she really have done Zina(Adultery)That is a very big sin.First she have to stop her affair and second is if she was now in a Muslim Country were the have Sharia she would be stoned to death.(After Sharia but after Sharia there too have to be 4 (Man - Witnesses)
some People think only Eye Witnesses but thats not right at all ,if the Culprit is speaking to 4 (Mens)People as example: he was doing this and this,than that too will be count.I will show evidence for that too.
Narrated by Jabir: A man from the tribe of Aslam came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and confessed that he had committed ‘zina’ (adultery). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) turned his face away from him till the man bore witness against himself four times. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him, "Are you mad?" He said "No." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked, "Are you married?" He said, "Yes." Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered that he be stoned to death, and he was stoned to death at the Musalla (public gathering place). [Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 8.810]
Here is one example because some People sometime saying dont says anything to your Parents or Childs in that matter,but that is wrong.You have to tell them if the do somethings against Islam,if you dont do it you will get the sin too,because you know about it.
On the authority of Abu Sa’eed al-Khudree (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say, “Whosoever of you sees an evil, let him change it with his hand; and if he is not able to do so, then [let him change it] with his tongue; and if he is not able to do so, then with his heart — and that is the weakest of faith.” [Muslim]
Here look what our Prophet(Sallallahu Alayhi Was Salam) were saying in a Hadith.
Narrated ‘Aisha (Radi-Allahu ‘anha):
The people of Quraish worried about the lady from Bani Makhzum who had committed theft. They asked, “Who will intercede for her with Allah’s Apostle?” Some said, “No one dare to do so except Usama bin Zaid the beloved one to Allah’s Apostle.”
When Usama spoke about that to Allah’s Apostle (Sallallahu ‘Alaihi Wa Sallam), Allah’s Apostle (Sallallahu ‘Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, (to him), “Do you try to intercede for somebody in a case connected with Allah’s Prescribed Punishments?” Then he got up and delivered a sermon saying, “What destroyed the nations preceding you, was that if a noble amongst them stole, they would forgive him, and if a poor person amongst them stole, they would inflict Allah’s Legal punishment on him.
By Allah, if Fatima, the daughter of Muhammad stole, I would cut off her hand.”
