What to do for a cheating father?

Asalamu alaikum.

I'm 12 years old. Recently, I have found evidence of my father cheating on my mother. I have no idea what to do. Should I confront him? I've made many duaa today but I'm afraid of what's going to happen as I have 2 younger siblings and I love both my mother and father and would not like to be seperated from any of them. If you can, please make duaa  to make my father stop cheating on my mother and for them to love each other more as to not have any unfaithful-ness happen between them and to make them stop fighting

Thank you so much.

  1. salaam.

make dua for your parents. and stand on ur feet and make your own living.

then he will take u seriouly.

focus your life on woriship of Allah and reach your goals and do not let this impact you.

  2. As Salamu Alaykum.
You says you have evidence. Are there 4 Witnesses?
if yes of course you have to confront him, even if he is your Father,he have done a Great Sin,One of the biggest Sin in Islam.
If we go after the Sharia,he have to be stonned to Death. If you live in a Country who is not a Muslim Country than of course ,that is a other Story, but again there have to be 4 Witnesses, but it is such a great sin.Yes he is your Father and will be forever your Father so of course you have to speak to him with respect, but of course Islam is more important than your Father, but the problem is again you need 4 Witnesses if you dont have them ,you cant confront him,but of course Allah knows all and Insha Allah he will be punished for it.
    Allahu Alem.

Here look what our Prophet(Sallallahu Alayhi Was Salam) were saying in a Hadith.

    Narrated ‘Aisha (Radi-Allahu ‘anha):

The people of Quraish worried about the lady from Bani Makhzum who had committed theft. They asked, “Who will intercede for her with Allah’s Apostle?” Some said, “No one dare to do so except Usama bin Zaid the beloved one to Allah’s Apostle.”

When Usama spoke about that to Allah’s Apostle (Sallallahu ‘Alaihi Wa Sallam), Allah’s Apostle (Sallallahu ‘Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, (to him), “Do you try to intercede for somebody in a case connected with Allah’s Prescribed Punishments?” Then he got up and delivered a sermon saying, “What destroyed the nations preceding you, was that if a noble amongst them stole, they would forgive him, and if a poor person amongst them stole, they would inflict Allah’s Legal punishment on him.

By Allah, if Fatima, the daughter of Muhammad stole, I would cut off her hand.”

      Hadith and Sira
Sahih Bukhari (6:60:79) - Two people guilty of illegal intercourse are brought to Muhammad, who orders them both stoned to death. Apparently their act was out of love, since the verse records the man as trying to shield the woman from the stones.

Sahih Bukhari (83:37) - Adultery is one of three justifications for killing a person, according to Muhammad.

Sahih Muslim (17:4192) - This hadith clarifies the different penalties for adultery (when the subjects are married), and fornication (when they are not): "in case of married (persons) there is (a punishment) of one hundred lashes and then stoning (to death). And in case of unmarried persons, (the punishment) is one hundred lashes and exile for one year" (See also 17:4191)

Sahih Muslim (17:4196) - A married man confesses to adultery. Muhammad orders him planted in the ground and pelted with stones. According to the passage, the first several stones caused such pain that he tried to escape and had to be dragged back.

Sahih Muslim (17:4206) - A woman who became pregnant confesses to Muhammad that she is guilty of adultery. Muhammad allows her to have the child, then has her stoned. The description is graphic: "Khalid b Walid came forward with a stone which he flung at her head and there spurted blood on the face of Khalid and so he abused her."

Sahih Muslim (17:4209) - A woman confesses adultery and is stoned to death on Muhammad's order.

Ibn Ishaq (970) - "The adulterer must be stoned." These words were a part of Muhammad's farewell address to his people on the occasion of his final pilgrimage to Mecca.

Islamic Law - "The stone shall not be so big so as to kill the person by one or two strikes, neither shall it be so small that it cannot be called a stone" The victim is intended to suffer.

      • I have somethings to says about that Hadithes, because i was reading it again and saw now theyre are shortened and of Course after Muhammad we have to says.(Sallallahu Alayhi was Salam.)
